Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the program held?
You’ll find us on Monday and Thursday nights in Roseville, Minnesota, at PHS headquarters. We’re just east of I-35W between county roads C and D.
Are parents involved in the program?
Absolutely! Parents are a crucial part of this program and one or both of you need to attend the Thursday night sessions.
What if we can’t make it some nights?
Attendance shows commitment, and commitment is crucial to success. If, for some reason, you or your child are unable to make it, please let us know (email or call) at least one day in advance. Three un-excused absences will result in dismissal from the program.
Can I bring my other kids?
Siblings are not allowed under any circumstances—they become a distraction for the other kids and parents in the class. Please plan accordingly so that you can focus on your Take 2 child’s success.
Will my insurance pay for this?
As of right now, Take 2 is an out-of-pocket expense program, and unfortunately, we cannot bill your insurance.
Will the parents exercise?
You'll learn about exercise and healthy habits, but the workouts are strictly for the kids.
Do my kids need to wear exercise clothes and tennis shoes?
Yes, they’ll be working out every night, so they need to dress appropriately.
My son/daughter has asthma, can they still be a part of Take 2?
Of course they can, just be sure to bring along any necessary asthma medications, inhalers, etc. It is important to note, however, that every child needs a physician clearance form signed by his/her primary doctor prior to program admittance.
