We went out to eat last night, and my daughter pointed out how proud she was of her choices. She is sharing the information and has retained it. She values it and is using it. That is a huge step.
Positive. Upbeat. Energetic. And we’re just talking about the kids.
This is an upbeat place, to say the least. But when you work with kids who really want to work at improving their lives, it’s hard to have a bad day. That’s not to say this isn’t a challenge, however. If you work here, you’ll work hard. You’ll need to maintain your certifications and continuing education. You’ll call upon your reserves of energy and passion every day. And your bosses, well, they act like 11-year-olds. Which, you’ll soon find, is the most rewarding part of the job.
